This allows for exceptional searing ability not typical of nonstick pots and pans while improving the release and durability of the coating. In CX+, they have paired this amazing coating to a high performance 5-ply clad-aluminum construction with brushed stainless steel exterior. The multiple layers of aluminum and stainless steel ensure rapid heat response and even distribution. Stratanium+ nonstick is bonded directly to the pan, so it doesn’t blister, peel or scrape away, even when using metal utensils. Scanpan CX+ pans feature a beautiful brushed finish smooth exterior, are induction compatible and are oven safe up to 480 degrees F.
